| Weed and Seed, a community-based strategy sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), is an innovative, comprehensive multiagency approach to law enforcement, crime prevention, and community revitalization. CCDO oversees the Weed and Seed initiative. The Community Capacity Development Office’s (CCDO) vision for the Weed and Seed program is “safe and thriving communities” and the mission of the program is “to promote comprehensive strategies to reduce crime and revitalize communities. |
